Telescope Public Viewing

In partnership with the Gunnison Valley Observatory, come out to Hartman Rocks for another special viewing session with our Library telescope. Volunteer Rob Brown will show you the night skies!

Weather permitting(but dress warm) we will meet at Hartman Rocks base area at 8pm and learn about and use the telescope. The Friends of the Library will be on hand with hot drinks!

The Library  has developed a telescope loan program through a partnership with Gunnison Valley Observatory to foster curiosity and create lifelong learning opportunities for those interested in astronomy, and inspire the next generation of scientists. Learn more at gunnisoncountylibraries.org.
