Pick up a poetry creative exploration kit starting April 6, 2022. Meet with us virtually on Wednesday, April 13. Meeting info here.

In the kit you can explore blackout poetry and paint chip poetry.

More information:

Blackout poetry: the premise is to black out every word on a page except for the ones you’d like to include in your poem. Using others’ words to craft your own. Use your sharpie and the pages provided or copy your own from an old book. Resource: https://bookriot.com/blackout-poetry-guide/

Paint chip poetry. Use a paint color to generate ideas for a poem. Write your poem on the chip or paste it to the top of a piece of paper.
