Introduction to Colorado Mushrooms

Join us on Thursday, August 11 at 6 pm at the Crested Butte Library for an evening with local mushroom experts, Dr. Amy Honan and Dr. Sara Branco.

Dr. Honan will provide an introduction to mushroom identification of common local mushrooms.

Dr. Branco will present current research on heavy metal tolerance in mushrooms.

Attendants will have the opportunity to culture fungi used in Dr. Branco’s research.
