Get a Library Card

Anyone who lives, works, or owns property in Gunnison County may apply for a library card.  Western State College students are also eligible. Proof of residency or employment and an application (signed by a parent or guardian if the applicant is under 13 years old) are required.
Persons residing outside of Gunnison County may also use the Library’s materials and equipment by presenting a driver’s license, or other official form of identification, such as passport or student ID.  A local address with telephone number is required, as well as an application.

Computer Use Procedures

In order to ensure fair and equal access for all library users, we do require that you login with a library card number  to use the computer. The computers are available for a ½ hour session. If there is no one else waiting for a computer, you can extend your session time as available.

If you are not eligible for a library card, you can ask at the desk for a guest pass.

All computers users must agree to our Internet Policy.  (make this a link to our policy that is used when we log into any public computer)

Wireless

Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi) is available for access throughout our libraries. To access our wireless, connect to the network "library" and open a web browser.
