Citizenship Classes

The Gunnison County Library District's Literacy Action Program, with the support of a service grant from the City of Gunnison, is once again offering Citizenship classes.

These classes are designed specifically to prepare students for the citizenship exam and interview, and more generally to promote civic literacy in the community.  The classes will focus on American history and political systems.

They will run for ten weeks on Monday and Wednesday evenings, from 5 - 5:50 pm at the Gunnison Community School, and will start on Monday, February 27th.  There is a $25 registration fee, which is waived for students currently enrolled in other Literacy Action Program classes, and can be reduced or waived for other students depending on need.

For more information, please contact the Literacy Action Program at 641-7684.  Para espanol, llama a 207-1807.
